Brunswick-McBride Industrial Park
Brunswick-McBride Industrial Park (just off U.S. 17 north of Brunswick) is conveniently located adjacent to the Brunswick Golden Isles Airport. With approximately 150 acres of this 300-acre development remaining, Brunswick-McBride is already home to many of the community’s light industrial, manufacturing, distribution and warehousing businesses.
North Glynn Commerce Park is the community’s newest industrial park, opened in February 2007. NGCP is located approximately two miles from I-95, adjacent to the northern boundary of the Brunswick-Golden Isles Airport. With a total of 67.7 upland acres, this location features generous protective covenants and lot sizes ranging from 2-14 acres.
Coastal Logistics Park l, with 687 acres of prime real estate, offers direct access to Interstate 95, existing water and sewer lines, and unsurpassed opportunities for interstate visibility. The property is currently being re-zoned to accommodate large scale distribution center and industrial use.
Prime commercial properties for either aeronautical or commercial/light industrial use are available at the 1,800-acre site that surrounds the Brunswick-Golden Isles Airport. Gulfstream Aerospace, a division of General Dynamics Corp., is one of the tenants currently operating at the Brunswick-Golden Isles Airport.
Colonel's Island Industrial Park contains more than 2,000 available acres of flat, high land and is one of the region's primary industrial and transportation centers. A mere two miles from I-95 via U.S. 17, the Park also includes Colonel’s Island Railroad that interchanges with CSX and Norfolk Southern. The Industrial Park has developed into one of the Atlantic Seaboard’s largest import/export centers for vehicles with, at this time, three auto processing companies on-site.
The Golden Isles Business Park is a 375 acre tract located 7.8 miles north of Brunswick and immediately adjacent to U.S. 17/GA 25. It is 3.4 miles east of I-95 and 1.5 miles from the Brunswick-Golden Isles Airport. The deep-water port on Colonel's Island is 8.9 miles to the south. This site is currently zoned "Office/Distribution/Industrial" with water, sewer, electricity, and natural gas available.
Recognizing the myriad of duty-free benefits that an FTZ location can provide to companies locating in Glynn County, the Brunswick and Glynn County Development Authority began efforts to secure a grant for Foreign Trade Zone #144 in early 2006. Having accomplished this, we are now in the process of defining boundaries for the new FTZ footprint.
